Known for some of the hottest builds in the Jeep and truck scene, Calvin knows how infectious project vehicles are, but his wife got a taste of his customizing dilemma when she just couldn’t stop adding more and more details to her Wrangler. #saTISified was never supposed to come to fruition, but she’s now glad everything worked out the way it was supposed to.
“Our plan was to take a year off from our builds until we heard there was a spot waiting for us at SEMA in the TIS Wheels booth,” Janessa explains. Not one to give up such a coveted opportunity, the Chapleaus set out to create something truly unique. Opting for a purple color scheme (their two daughter’s favorite color), they wanted to pay homage to the wheel company that supported them throughout the past few years, adding “TIS” into the build’s moniker.
Once it was decided to show it off at SEMA, they began their initial design process on their living room couch while sipping coffee. “We made a list of everything we wanted to see on the Jeep. We then sent all our ideas to Chase Carroll at Innov8 Design Lab,” she describes. “He then sent back the perfect rendering, which really got us excited about the build. It was exactly as we had imagined!”
